Day 1: Surabaya to Cemorolawang

Your adventure begins at 11:30 PM as we pick you up from your hotel in Surabaya. After a smooth 2.5-hour drive, you’ll reach the charming village of Cemorolawang. Nestled on the edge of Bromo Tengger Semeru National Park, this village serves as the perfect base for your exploration of the stunning landscapes around Mount Bromo.

Witness the Majestic Sunrise at Mount Bromo

Upon arrival in Cemorolawang, you will hop into a 4WD jeep that will take you on an exhilarating ride to Kingkong Hill, one of the best vantage points for witnessing the breathtaking sunrise over Mount Bromo. Depending on the weather conditions, you will be treated to a spectacular view that showcases the dramatic terrain and the vibrant hues of dawn. As the sun rises, illuminating the landscape in shades of orange and pink, you’ll understand why this location is a must-visit for nature lovers and photography enthusiasts alike.

Trekking to the Crater of Mount Bromo

After soaking in the mesmerizing sunrise, you will return to the jeep and venture across the expansive sea of sand towards the parking area of the Mount Bromo caldera. Here, you will embark on an approximately 40-minute trek to reach the crater's edge. This rewarding journey offers close encounters with the natural beauty of Mount Bromo, where you can marvel at the steaming crater and enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. Well-trained guides will accompany you, ensuring that you have a safe and enriching experience.

Around 9:00 AM, you will regroup at the parking area, where the jeep will transport you back to the rest area. This first day of the journey offers an excellent blend of adventure, breathtaking views, and unforgettable experiences.
